The Iranian National Paintball team obtained their Taiwan visa in Dubai today and made their way in the evening to fly to Hong Kong on to Taiwan with Cathy Pacific airways.
Datis arrived in Hong Kong at 12.05 local time and took the next flight out to Taiwan at 13.45. On arrival in Taiwan we found out that the Hong Kong authorities had held some of the markers without notifying us, therefore we had to go to the Taiwan authorities to solve this problem. This took several hours and we had to wait for another flight from Hong Kong to receive the rest of the equipment and even when they did arrive, we still were missing a suitcase with a marker inside, which we were told was still held by the authorities for further investigation. Due to the late hour of the day we had no choice but to get the high speed train from Taiwan to the World Games site in Koahsiung located in the South of Taiwan and will just hope that we will get the marker delivered here as promised.
